Here we go again. The holiday season is all set to slam upon us, just the way malware will. Cummon, you have to be a serious noob if you haven’t noticed the pattern. Jingle bells…data insecure…PC crashed…bad Christmas. Quite evident.
There are quite a few ways to avoid this pain in the ass. I suggest a simple yet effective method – update your OS (only required if it’s Windows), browser and security software. That should work.
And if you’re a noob, who’s using Norton Anti-virus, go boil you head. You better shift to something more effective before it’s TOO LATE!!! I’m not joking. Head over to www.avast.comor www.avg.com. avast! and AVG are two very good free alternatives to pre-installed OEM anti-virus, which is only good at hogging memory (anyone at Norton reading this?) As for spyware and that lot of crap-code, AdAware 2007 and Spybot S&D. These are some things which should keep most troubles off you mind.
