I was going through my backlog of unread messages, and I found this link to PCWorld, about Norton AntiVirus and Internet Security 2009. What I’m confused about, is really tall claims, that both will install under 1 minute flat.
Yeah right…
They haven’t even mentioned if they’re installing it on a ClassmatePC, or a supercomputer. I know for a fact, that when I tried installing Norton AntiVirus 2005, ages ago, on my trusty single-core, it took ages, much more thant the 4-5 minutes specified for earlier versions of the software.
They also claim around 7MB of memory usage for both the applications, which I find hard to beliveve. Anyway, I’m not in a mood to try out Norton, cause it has messed up my PC earlier, and I’m not in any mood to let it run amok again.
