The New Look

After over two years of the same theme – Regulus – I’ve finally decided to change the look of my blog. It’s not that Regulus was bad or anything…just that it was getting a bit…well…boring. Regulus is and will always remain a good theme for WordPress blogs. It offers a great deal of customization and looks very clean and simple.

It’s not that I’ve never experimented with different themes ever before. It’s just that they were just for a few minutes, before I was pining for Regulus. The others just didn’t cut it for me. If I was unlucky, you might have spotted some bizzare themes momentarily while visiting the blog. If so, I’m sorry for any psychological damage caused. At the same time, I refuse to take any responsibility, and you better have a pretty good lawyer if you plan to sue.

This new theme is called Monochrome. Technically, there’s a bit of blue and orange, but it doesn’t really matter. I think it maintains the simplicity I like, and also adds a dark flavour which I was looking for. The all-black themes were just…too black! Plus, the font size for the text is bigger, which was a problem some complained about in the old theme.

Anyhow, don’t expect another change for let’s say…another 2 years.

  1. Try Freshy and Vigilance. The latter is plain and offers immense amount of customisation

  2. Nice theme. Nice and clean. Looks WP 2.8 compatible too.

  3. this one is sleek.
not to hard on the eyes with wild color schemes, this one is simple yet effective :)
